Tuners
Bridges
Tone Ninja tuners come in various models that will fit most modern and vintage guitars. There are two main things you need to know to make sure of the correct fit: the diameter of your peghead holes, and the way that the tuners mount.
Most modern guitars have 10 mm (3/8") peghead holes. If your guitar already has 10 mm tuner holes (common on most guitars). Vintage guitars and some vintage reissue models have a 8.5-8.8mm hole size. In general (95% of the time), if you have hexagonal head bushings, you have modern 10mm holes, and if you have press in bushings (no hex head) you have vintage 8.8 mm holes. Having said all that, most modern instruments (made in the last 35 or so years) have 10mm holes.
Bottom line, first of all check your peghead hole size.
Next, you need to know how your tuners mount to the headstock (from the rear of the headstock). Various types exist, using either one or two pins or that use one or two small screws.
Tone Ninja makes tuners to be, as far as possible, a 'drop in' upgrade for most instruments, i.e. you can unscrew the old ones, and just screw in the new ones with no modifications of any kind.
Always verify your guitar’s headstock hole diameter and use the appropriate mounting hardware for a secure installation.
